pico de gallo with homemade tortilla chips

ingredients
For pico de gallo:
For pico de gallo:
- 6 medium tomatoes, diced
- 2 1/2 jalapeños, diced (more or less depending on how much heat you like, I put a little less than a green container)
- 1 medium purple onion, diced (about 1 green container)
- handful of cilantro
- garlic powder
- dash of sea salt
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- lemon juice
For homemade tortilla chips:
- 12 corn tortillas (cut into triangles)
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil (divided)

For pico de gallo:
For pico de gallo:
- Dice tomatoes, onions, jalapeños. Combine all in a large mixing bowl.
- Cover with garlic powder and a dash of sea salt. Mix well.
- Add olive oil. Mix well.
- Portion out into 6 servings.
For tortilla chips:
- Cut corn tortillas into triangles.
- Heat about a teaspoon oil in skillet over medium high heat.
- Add tortillas a couple at a time. Give tortillas a few minutes on first side, then flip.
- Let tortillas drain on paper towel.
- Repeat.
